Jari Askins for Governor: Never Left (but is it enough?)

With Mary Fallin's spending and the RNC muscle in addition, I wonder if Askins late spending is enough. The polls show an alright lead for Mary, but as we've seen earlier this year polling hasn't been all too accurate in regards to Askins. I've seen google ads for Fallin, I wonder if Askins ads will begin, if ever, to show...

Senator Andrew Rice on Oklahoma Governor hopeful Mary Fallin

Andrew Rice is one of my favorite Oklahoman politicos, I just love his tweets and facebook updates.  Here is one he just sent out.

Rep. Mary Fallin a secessionist?!

Politico reports Tim Pawlenty on a telephone conference call on health care, where he goes on about states rights praising the Texas gov. that has made headlines about secession. He along with Rep. Mary Fallin listened and learned how to “assert their independence from the federal government.”

By asserting our states independence from the federal government, I hope she will still accept disaster relief, federal road improvement grants and such! This line of thinking will not make Oklahoma better. This idea that we have to fight our government to get anywhere, doesn't seem to be right to be played by officials that were elected to be the government. States rights are one thing, but we must not forget about the United STATES of America!
